The Photographs convey more than technical skills. They have the power to transport the viewer to another place and serve as a means of expression.
Images speak to our deepest emotions without the limitations of words, making photography the language of images; a direct encounter with our creativity.
August 19th is the World Photography Day, that was the perfect trigger to invite 6 female photographers from different parts of the world so they could choose a Casia and photograph them freely. The only rule was that they could express their photographic style.
JERIKA FIGUEROA BENABE (Puerto Rico)
MICAELA SAMPEDRO (Argentina)
The goal is to showcase, communicate, and depict a unique perspective of Casia through the lens of each photographer. It's fun to observe how each artist selects a specific piece and color and approaches it differently. The magic, creativity, and sensitivity of the creator are evident in the final product, which results from the interaction between the photographer and the lens.
KATHARINE KOLLMAN (Hawai'i)
ESTEFANIA VAZQUEZ (Puerto Rico)
Photography retains something that endures over time, as it will always be a reinterpretation of reality.
"Through the photographic eye, the world can be seen in a new light; a world largely unexplored and unknown; a world waiting to be discovered and revealed." - Edward Weston
AMPARO ZUELGARAY (Argentina)
FELICIA LIM (Singapore)
We deeply value and respect the dedication, empathy, and unique approach of every photographer who works with Casia and the environment.
We are delighted to showcase their beautiful captures and provide some insight into the individuals behind each photograph.
"One becomes a photographer when one has overcome the worries of learning and in one's hands, the camera becomes an extension of oneself. Then creativity begins " - Carl Mydans
